I found a combo Penn 114H2 reel with a Penn slammer rod. I want to know if this would be a good enough setup for shark fishing from the beach ???
any advice would be appreciated. also if you think this rod and reel combo is a good one, do you think that 65lb power pro braided line would be good for sharking from the beach?

You got yourself a good casting set up that will have no problem bringing in some small bulls and blacktips.
