Here is the video of the big shark we lost at Sebastian. With all the tarpon in the water, it might have been a hammer. It was running really fast! Also in the video is some Redfish we caught.

ya it does i got straight cut on all mono tho i had no braid cuz i didnt have the money to spool my 900h yet but that current adds so many pounds of pressure on the outgoing tide and there are some tru monsters there year round did it pop at the knot or did it pop just randomly thru the braid even with some of the best knots some of these braids are too waxy like and slip

The braid was all brand new and the knot has already gone through the rollers. It popped in a random spot of brand new line that never got wet before. We spooled the reel with gloves and made sure the braid was compact. I have 130lb Diamond Momoi Hollowcore on that reel. I have had that line get caught in the spool before and it didn't break, the hook pulled before the line broke. I wonder if I got a bad batch of line.

i was watching the video a couple times and when it popped the angle of his rod was pointing toward the mouth of the inlet im wondering if those rocks hit that mono real quick and popped it. was it frayed or anything? it probably doesnt matter if it was frayed or not the rocks may have sliced it like butter.

There was no fray.
