Hows it going everyone. I have always wanted to get into shark fishing and I am really glad I have found this site!
I am 21 years old, college student, own a ocean kayak and live 5 minutes away from the beach so I guess it's kind of natural for me to want to get into shark fishing. I started off fishing for bass at a young age and as I got older started getting more into saltwater fishing.
I recently bought my first big game reel and rod. A penn senator 9/0 with a 50-130lb class rod. Figured that would be a good setup to get me started.
I am mostly going to be fishing out of Boca Raton off beaches. I have a few good spots that I think will be good or worth a shot. I have never caught a shark yet so I know I have a lot to learn. Really excited to start fishing for them!
