Just found this site while searching on Google, seems like a lot of info on here.

I have been shark fishing for about 3 years now and got into it when I came across a group of fishermen that made the drive all the way from Texas (www.tx-sharkfishing.com) to fish the beaches just north of the St Lucie Inlet for a weekend. They had caught and released about a dozen sharks of 4 different species while they were here. That got me hooked.

I have landed a few small sharks, 3 black tips (3'-4') and a small lemon shark (3'). My first shark I hooked was a spinner that snapped my leader in half.

I am interested in meeting ya'll on the beach, and if anyone is up in the treasure coast area (between St Lucie Inlet and Ft Pierce Inlet), let me know, Im always looking for someone to fish with.

There is also a wreck not to far from the beach, the St Valentine i think, that is a hot spot for all sorts of sharks. Its also on a part of the beach that swimmers dont usually go.

If anyone is up here fishing, let me know, I would love to meet some of ya'll and learn something new.

I think I was part of the crew that you met out there a few years ago. We fished a local beach over there for 36 hours and landed 8 sharks over 8'...4 of them being hammers. You are definitely in the right area for larger sharks. The rocks are a bit tough to work around, but the fish are there if you can overcome that.

It was ya'll that got me interested in this thing. If your ever in this area again, let me know.

I guess this is really a re-introduction.

Ive been out of the fishing game for a while. My wife gave birth to our son and now I just moved from Port St Lucie up to Satellite Beach.

I have a small crack in my kayak that im going to repair this weekend and then I need to get back on the beach and fish. I was wondering if anyone was in the area or would be in the area and wanted to get together for some sand time.

Looking forward to reading some reports and posting some of my own.
