Hmmm.
Where I'm at seems a lot further out than that. I'm going to have to figure out a way to measure. I suppose it doesn't matter as long as you are getting the bait into the right depth. Maybe it's possible on Google earth?

I posted this awhile back somewhere here so I won't go into as much detail , I think it's in the thread about spooky , scary, stuff.
Anyway .....1976 DAYTONA BEACH , celebrating 21st B'Day....... one of my Buddies & I decided to swim WAY out & did , on way in,
My friend says "HEY,do you see what I see?"
IT , was down just far enough that all we could make out was that it was about the size of the hood on the OLDS 442 we came to DAYTONA in, & a light brownish color .........and it was pacing us!
"YEAH, I see it ,keep strokin' "
Whatever it was stayed with us long enough to scare the livin' hell out of us and finally whipped around & dove all in one motion & was GONE.
Never knew what it was.
