where have all the fish gone. Terrible week fishing in FT. Myers area. We were at blind pass and along the beach here. Cant even catch a lady fish. 5 nights soaking bait and only one 7'3" lemon. Anyone else over here having trouble?

Haven't been out in a while..but my buddy got a nice big tarpon the other night, no shark runs though. Yes, river runoff can **** up the fishing..the sharks as well as the baitfish they like to eat seem to move to cleaner water where it is easier to hunt food. Try and find a beach further away from the river until the rain dies down and the runoff clears up.
