Will the Junior Angler 2nd Place Biggest Shark is jonnathen serrano with 11.9 ft hammer head

I agree with Eddy - Jonathan Serrano he's a junior angler and he qualifies for second place as well in the junior's category.

Just finishing the board and tabulating totals ,last night I nodded out at 1 am exhausted eyes blurry from looking at the computer all day.Eddy and Boghy are correct I just checked my registration forms and indeed it indicates that Jonh Bryan Serrano who caught the 11 ft 9 inch Hammer for Team PALM BEACH SHARK SLAYERS is 17 years old and a Junior angler and in second place .

UNBELIVABLE THE JUNIOR ANGLERS KNOCKED OUT EVERYONE --THE TWO BIGGEST SHARKS IN THE TOURNEY WERE CAUGHT BY 17 YEAR OLD YOUNG MEN.WOW!!!

ps ,,,,I apologize to Coty Stafani My fault i overlooked the 11 ft 9 hammer caught by Junior AnglerJohn Serrano (Team Palm Beach Shark Slayers) Coty Stafani who is also a junior on Team Smokin Senators caught a very worthy fish at 9 ft 6 inch his hammerhead shark and I had him posted in second place by mistake BUT he is GETTING A 3RD PLACE TROPHY.

Thanks Will for putting on the BHC each year..................although I did not enter this year it was a blast looking at the results each day seeing what everyone caught. Now with that said I will be entering the BHC next year and will schedule some time off so I can put some time on the beach with dreams of catching the Big One.

IF YOU HAVE A SHARK THAT HAS BEEN OVERLOOKED PLEASE POST BELOW AND LET US KNOW YOUR NAME ,TEAM NAME AND WHAT PAGE OF THE LEADERBOARD THE SHARK IS ON SO THAT WE CAN REVIEW IT.

Remember this is a month long tournament and it takes a lot of work to stay on top of every single detail to perfection. One change I have made to improve the Tournament's challenging nature is that "One shark alone cannot win the Triple Crown Category an angler must catch a minimum of two sharks winning in any three FIRST PLACE categories to win the Triple Crown".This would represent an angler purposely fishing for Triple Crown status by targeting different species or different line categories.Next year the Nurse shark will have it's own separate trophy because many have complained about them competing against more hard pulling sharks of equal size.

"Had an absolute monster last night!! hit the bait on the way in. I was packing up and reeling in the last rod and about 50yrds from the beach it just bent over and screamed. Went down to just less than a half spool. Fought back and forth for a while. It was a long battle. When he got to the wash and threw that absolutely massive tail up. We were all in aww. Not but a moment later it went slack. He swam off just as tired as I was. my heart broke. When we examined what gave, we saw that he apparently wound up in the leader and about 40' of my main line. and even past my 20' of steel about halfway up my 10 400lb was fray popped ... that was the one! I have been beat but not defeated. WATCH OUT!! I only learn from my heartache... TIGHT LINES GUYS"
