Took a heck of a team to put these sharks on the sand but every team has a most valuable player and think we all agree that more than half these sharks would never have seen the sand with out young Travis! Thanks Travis for all your hard work!

TEAM CLUSTERFU#K-

This year Team Clusterf*ck consists of Josh Pryor, Robert Pryor, Tommy Sneed, Mark Conner (charkbait) and Mark Duncan (madshark). You could call our trip "Banned of Brothers”, as we have all been banned from Deaver’s little site in the last year. This year’s BHC was a great experience. Thanks to Will and all you others who work so hard to make this happen.

Recognizing that the big challenge of an extended trip is making bait, we all started working to collect bait about a month before this trip. We started with about 300 pounds of rays and Jack Crevalles. After 90+ baits run in 5 days we finished with a half dozen small rays.

This year we truly personified our team name. I was fishing with a bad disc in my neck that forced me to a chiropractor and I got bit by a 5’4” Blacktip across my palm. I appreciate Mark Conner stepping up and kayaking all our baits after I got bitten. His skills are really improving, in the yak, and he really saved our trip. I’ll leave it to the others in our camp to fill in their experiences. Through it all, we managed to put a few fish on the sand.

Team Clusterf*ck loaded out – Mark Duncan, Mark Conner and Tommy Sneed

Robert and Josh Pryor

We set up two camps about 300 yards apart. Me, Mark and Tommy were east camp. Josh and his dad, Robert were west camp. This is the full team at east camp.

We got into fish almost right away.

#1) Mark Conner’s 95” Lemon

#2) Josh Pryor’s 76” Bull

#3) Mark Conner’s 82” Bull

#4) Mark Duncan’s 86 ½” Bull

#5) Mark Duncan’s 102” Bull – caught on 80# line

#6) Josh Pryor’s 67” Blacktip

#7) Robert Pryor’s 72” Blacktip

#8) Josh Pryor’s 114” Lemon – New Personal Best

#9) Robert Pryor’s 61 ½” Blacktip

#10) Robert Pryor’s 93” Bull

#11) Tommy Sneed’s 77” Bull – New Personal Best

#12) Mark Duncan’s 64” Blacktip – This is one that ended up with the front half of my left hand in its mouth.

#13) Robert Pryor’s 61” Blacktip

#14) Mark Conner’s 99” Bull

#15) Mark Duncan’s 65 ½” Blacktip

#16) Mark Conner’s 86 ½” Tiger – Mark was reeling in his last line with a Jackfish head that had soaked all night. We were rolling up to head home. On the way in, this Tiger hit his bait.

My only complaint with the tournament is that we could only fish it one week

Speaking as a member of Team Jurassic, thanks for all the SFSC southern hospitality, guys! I'm sure all the other members feel the very same way. It was great fun. Good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise, we will be back again next year. Thanks for all the hard work you and your crew here at SFSC put into making this tournament happen, Will. All the best to you guys and gals the remainder of this season.

Doc
