A king, bull, and BT

I got to go to Destin for two days and do a little fishing while I was there. It was a little difficult with the crowds but I ended up setting all my baits at dark or right before dark when everyone was out of the water. The first full day there I took out the kayak and trolled around for about an hour before I hooked up with a nice 40 inch king.

Not long after the king I got into some bonita and quickly caught two. Now I was set on bait. That night about 30 minutes after dark I ran out my first line and caught a bull around 6 foot. I was shocked at the amount of people that literally seemed to appear from the dark. I answered a lot of question about what it was I was doing and all the reception I received was good. Most people were excited to see there first shark in person. The next night I went out and found a quite spot on the beach and set my line out a little before dark. I was rewarded with this little 5 foot class Blacktip. I will say I will never complain about catching sharks, but when I get one those smaller BTs on the 14/0 they absolutely beat me up on the sand. They are still greener than ever. All in all it was a great trip.

Great report. It's a sandbar, not a bull.

"He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction" (Proverbs 13:3).

Thanks for the help! I was so tired that night I was out of it. I was looking at the pics again and was constantly second guessing my self. That was my first sand bar and I wasn't aware they were caught during the summer.
