13ft 1 in caught on June 20th 1970, 12:00 Saturday afternoon
11ft 6 in caught during the Texas International Fishing Tournment in 1971

Norman, do you remember anything unusual about the conditions the week that you caught the 11'10" and the 13'1" tigers in June? You have been fishing a long time, so for 2 of your 3 tigers to come only days apart, I wonder if there was some kind of odd weather/water conditions.

That was 40 years ago. Hell I can't remember to pick up my socks let alone that. The best I remember, there were no special things going on that week. We had all been fishing down the beach for a week and we did everything like we always did. No special baits or unusal weather conditions. The surf was usual for June and the water was warm. Nothing was out of the ordnary. Thanks for asking though......
