I'm thinking 800-900 lb, but have little to no experience. I saw some picture of this shark before, but I think this picture is better.

Something is out of wack with these pictures (IMO).In both pictures the pectoral fin he is holding in his right hand is huge, but the dorsal fin in his left hand looks puni and not of a large bull shark of this size.Another question I have is why thet did not announce an overall length? If and when a shark researcher scientist catches a large specimen at the upper limits for that species should'nt they provide as many details as possible so there colleageus in the same field can update information?

i think the way the dorsal is laying coupled with his hand placement make the dorsal look small. note the dorsal curving away from the photographer. makes part of the dorsal "disappear." we have similar issues with whitetails on camera where im from. makes judging measurements difficult at times.

I never noticed that William, but the dorsal fin is unusually small compared to the pectoral fin. And being scientist you would think their would have been more measurements, this story is a little fishy.
