Sorry about being late with the pics but life sometimes gets in the way of shark fishing related stuff.
We are happy that we had a good turn-out for our end of the year Awards Party although I was late finishing the party preparations in the end everything worked out just fine.The help I personally expected for the Party day did not materialize but I'm confident that in 2012 there will be more cooperation to soften the load on the wife and I.Maybe I was wrong to expect help--- I SHOULD OF ASKED FOR VOLUNTEERS AND I DID NOT.These events take lots of planning and lots of work to pull off so if there are to be more in 2012 we will definetly ask SFSC members to come out and lend a hand.I will get the wife a caterer next year for sure she does more then her fair share of the kitchen preparations but it's overwhelming sometimes.Folks again, these events TAKE LOTS OF HARD WORK so in 2012 please let's all be considerate of those making things possible behind the scenes. We want to thank everyone that came out and joined us for a wonderful time.
The coolers were stuffed with cold beverages ,the pig was roasting and the masses started arriving as the music started playing.We celebrated an outstanding year of fishing and were able to meet new fishermen from around the state that made it down to share the joyous occasion.We raffled off a 10 foot original Gatorglass rod with all ceramic guides and the happy winner was brand new SFSC member Matt Martin of Coral Gables Florida who was introduced to the Club by by Janet(fishergirl)Fuqua and her hubby Jerry Fuqua, Jd Hammer's brother.
On hand we had the new SFSC 2012 shirts and hoodys for every member that signed up for the new year of competition. We want to thank everyone that gave of themselves to make this party a success.Thanks to Chris Salomoni and Chris Fronczek for help with the Raffle and Chris Salomoni for the proyector and slides.The cook on the Bar bq this year was Timmy T ,on the pig roast my Cuban hillbilly cousin Humberto ,Janet like always handled all the paperwork for paying members and lastly my wife Maggy whom without these Events could not be possible.To everyone who donated or brought something to drink or eat a big THANK YOU!!! 
Thanks to Shannon Bustamante for his contribution by helping the Small Fry anglers with money to get signed up for SFSC membership and for motivating the new era of shark fishermen to get involved in a great sport.I hope I did not forget to thank anyone but If i did - sorry.Hope to see you all again at the 2012 Awards Party -Thanks.
