BULLBUSTER LINE SHARKER OF THE MONTH CONTEST
We are excited to announce that for 2014 Bullbuster Line one of our Major sponsors will be giving to the winner of the 'SHARKER OF THE MONTH' a FREE spool of line .The Sharker of the Month Award is given to ANY paid South Florida Shark Club member who catches the Biggest Shark(TOTAL LENGTH) each month during the year.Colby Uva owner of Bullbuster Premium line will be donating the line which is used by most of the SFSC members.Check out there website if you need to purchase some of the toughest line we have ever used over the years.IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE BULLBUSTER CONTEST YOU MUST BE A PAID MEMBER AT THE TIME THE SHARK IS CAUGHT.All sharks must be measured tip of snout to tip of tail.If in any month there is a tie in the length of a shark the one caught first is the winner.Each of the 12 WINNERS (JAN-DEC 2014)will be announced the 5TH of each Month for the month that preceded.THAT WAY IT GIVES AMPLE TIME TO POST SHARKS CAUGHT THE PREVIOUS MONTH
RULES OF THE CONTEST
1)Contest is for any dues PAID members of the South Florida Shark Club
2)Shark must be caught by only one angler on the ROD
3)Sharks must be measured using a measuring tape that isin Feet not in Meters(All Catches Must Be Witnessed)
4)In the event of a dispute the SFSC committee will vote and it's findings will be final
5)ONLY SHARKS CAUGHT FROM LAND QUALIFY FOR THE Bullbuster CONTEST

South Florida Shark Club member Peter Buban has once again proven he is currently at the top of the list of land-based best sharkers best.On the last day of January Peter caught ILBSFA WORLD RECORD 13 FT 9 INCH HAMMERHEAD SHARK while fishing in the 2014 Blacktip Challenge Shark Tournament.This is one of the largest hammerheads ever caught from shore .Congratulations Peter.

Look below at rule number 2. I think something is missing.
I would like to suggest that only sharks caught on land can be entered. Rule number 4 states that photos must be posted by the 4th and the opening paragraph states the decision will be made on the 4th. I think the decision should be made on the 5th in case of a photo at the last minute on the 4th and time for the committee to deliberate.

Just want to say thanks to Bullbuster Line for donating the line for the sharker of the month. And SFSC for making this happen making it a competition amongst members.. Its a really good thing they are doing guys get out there and catch some sharks you could be next!!!! Thanks again!!!!!
