Congratulations to all who competed in the No Limits Shark Tournament.Right from the first day of the competition I saw the extreme efforts put forth by the anglers.Both east coast and west coast anglers worked hard to be crowned "the champion" and it shows in the size and variety of sharks caught.

TO OUR DETRACTORS WHO HAVE A NON COMPETE POLICY AND A NO TOURNAMENT POLICY SET IN THERE SHARK FISHING WEBSITE I TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO SAY ONCE AGAIN THAT'S A BUNCH OF BULL#$&.IN THESE SHARK TOURNAMENTS ANGLERS PUSH THEMSELVES TO EXCEL,PUSH THEMSELVES TO FIND NEW MORE PRODUCTIVE SPOTS,PUSH THEMSELVES TO FISH LONGER HOURS ,PUSH THEMSELVES TO WITHSTAND THE COLD,THE RAIN,THE DISCOMFORT OF WET CLOTHES.BECAUSE THESE ANGLERS HAVE PUSHED THEMSELVES TO MAKE THE CATCHES WE ARE PRIVELEGED TO SEE THERE HARD WORK AND AMAZING CATCHES,WE ARE MADE AWARE THAT HIGH PLACES ARE REACHABLE IF EFFORT IS PUT FORTH.I AM PROUD TO SEE NEW FRIENDSHIPS MADE POSSIBLE BY THIS SITE AND IT'S SHARK TOURNAMENTS,A BOND CREATED BETWEEN COMPETITORS NEW FRIENDS FORGED IN HARD WORK AND FRIENDLY COMPETITION.A TOUGHER NEW BREED OF SHARK FISHERMEN IS EMERGING FROM THESE COMPETITIONS AND I AM HONORED TO SEE YOUNG MEN DEVELOPING INTO INCREDIBLE SHARK FISHERMEN BY THE EXPIERIENCE AFFORDED IN THESE TOURNAMENTS,ONE PERFECT EXAMPLE IS STEVEN STALLINGS 15 YEARS OLD WEIGHING MAYBE 115 LBS WORKING A PENN 16/0 LIKE A PRO AND CATCHING A 9 FOOT OVER 450 LB BULL SHARK.I SEE MANY OTHER ANGLERS WHO I KNOW PUT FORTH SO MUCH EFFORT AND WERE VICTORIUS WITH PERSONAL BEST SHARKS CAUGHT IN THIS TOURNEY -I AM PROUD OF EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU.WHERE WOULD HUMANITY BE IF WE DID'NT PUSH OURSELVES??

great job to everyone still pissed off that travis caught every shark when our rods were right next to each other but oh well guess its the bad luck of the 16/0 great job again guys a lot of hard work and a lot of hours

Travis you put on a great tourny and lots of shark were caught. I had to work this year .Next year I will be retired and ready to fish your tourny. GREAT JOB EVERY WHO ENTERED.

WTG RAY, Defending last years title is a lot harder than obtaining a Win. CONGRATS on your WIN.

Def had a blast and fished our asses off! Congrats to all who placed! God knows not making the top three wasnt for lack of trying lol. We fished with some good people, and got our BHC team in the process. Cant wait for the next tourney, and excuse to spend too much time on the sand lol

Congrats to you that caught sharks. Fished 5 times and didn't land one.

I really dont like that I got 0 points.
Maybe a couple mercy points to make me feel better.

I thought I'd be fishing during that period and I wanted to support Travis and the club so I thought I would enter. I knew I could only fish the last few days and did not have any expectations of competing or being a threat.

Well, I lost my largest shark and that lead to about 3 phone calls from Raymundo and another 3 from Travis. Then I landed the 8ft 8inch Bull. HOLD ON NOW. I received about another 8 calls from Raymundo and about 3 from Travis plus a few other calls.

Then, I got a call from Raymundo about every hr wanting an update and discussing points and strategy. Then it lead to conference calls with Ray and Travis. I had no intentions of really fishing. I even ran out of bait, but these guys, my team and cfronczek89 got my so wound up I went fishing for sharks with no bait.

I put together some 10 inch lures, the correct leaders and went in to the surf up to my shoulders surf casting with my reel about 3 feet below the surface. I didn't land anything but neither did the shark team about 30 yards up the beach from me baiting in big sharks.

Now I'm in the competition mode!!! I have the fever and I have one night to go. I have no bait. Called about 5 people about bait and hit up about 5 boats and finally scored. Just a few hours left and Ray called me about 5 more times.

Ray's strategy was to keep me on the phone so I had no time to fish. He is a very smart guy and a fierce competitor. I fished all night without even a click, lucky for Ray!!!

I love the competition and the bonds that are developed under stress.
