Is a whole mullet or cut mullet better for surf fishing for blacktip sharks
If your casting, whatever you can throw better if your dropping baits go with a whole mullet
Bigger bait=bigger fish

to save bait/money i'd go with half mullet on short drops or cast it as far as i can. if your looking for bigger reef sharks like Hammers then i'd use the biggest whole mullet i could find.
if u cut the mullet the smaller fish will peck at it and eat it lil by lil u will only have a head left over try using barracuda, bluefish, jacks, ladyfish ,sting ray ect ect they last longer
