a ray that was probaly 25lbs
biggest bait has to be 30lb jacks with the tail and a bit of meat cut off to drop on the smaller rods, and boy do those big baits get chewed, one 10' hammer on the beach, 8' 3" and very pregnant bull, and 2 big hammers that found the reef. Can't wait for the big jacks to come down the beach to catch them on topwaters on the staal then drop them on the 80w at one of two locations and watch some monster t-heads dump some line or might take some to the tiger spot if we've got nothing to do cause they'll love some big fresh baits and we've never put a tiger on the beach, but pete barnett gave us his tiger spots so that'll be something to check off the list this spring and really want to bow up on one of these 12' plus tigers he keeps telling us about and that spot get's good before our hammer spots get really good, by really good I mean the tips are almost nonexsistent but big ass baits take care of that problem earlier in the year.
My biggest bait was last year in the big Hammer chalange. I took a pic of the bait before I put it out and caught a EST 500 LB BULL. On A 50lb AJ. At the beach. I was with JD. 
The biggest bait I have used is probally a 30lb cownose ray and it was out for about 30 min when we had a good run but ended up pulling the hooks after about 15 min
biggest bait i ever used was a live 60-80 lb tarpon caught off boynton inlet and live lined out on a 16/0. sat out there for 5 hrs then got hit and almost spooled then a boat cut me off. tarpon rays and AJ are by far my favorite large baits. I am a firm believer the bigger the bait the bigger the fish some days i am right some days i dont catch crap.

The biggest bait I ever used was a full cownose ray and surprisingly I got a run within the hour but I couldn't stop whatever grabbed it l. This was on the skyway and would like to add tide doesn't help
I used a 25lb king and the crabs partied on it 
Just BIG cownose on Gandy and kept getting my rigs broken. 480lb cable chewed through, 16/0 Mustads bent out or eyes opened, crimps pulled out, etc all in one summer. Went to #19 wire, welded eye VMC tuna hooks, switched from a 9/0 and 80lb dacron to a 12/0 and 200lb Toughline (braid) just as it was starting to get cold. Couldnt wait till next summer. THEN THEY CLOSED GANDY FOR GOOD... 
the biggest bait i have used was a mullet hahahaha nah it was a whole bonita
15-20 lb cownose and caught a small 80-100 lb bull.
50inch to fork cuda = 12-13ft tiger off bridge, got up to shore and threw hooks right in front of me; recently used a 3ft bullshark on my 4 everol (50lb test) and was surprised to have caught a 5'10 bullshark; Bunch of 30-50lb rays, few small runs........next on the list is a 60-100lb tarpon 
mine was a live 6ft bull.......minor results...
