I know alot of you guys out there buy your bait from charter boats when its available, just curious what the going rate is for the fish. Price per species would be even better. Dont want to get hosed lol
5 for a bonita in the Palm Beach area is my experience.
there is a boat up sarasota i think its the flying fish or some thing like that. capt. nick runs the private boat for them. he always gives me bait for free but just bring him a 12 pack of bud light and he is set.
Work em down as low as you can.. they'll usually try and rip ya. Also try goin to the same ppl often. You never know you might find a boat that gives em to you for free.

Definitely!! When I'm in a jam like where I can only fish for like one day and dont have much time to catch bait, I always go to the same guy. Sometimes he throws in an extra bonita or whatever he has for free
most make you pay 3-5$ for a bonita, but carcasses are mostly free if you ask.
The boats around here just usually give us everything.
i called anglers bait and tackle in dania on tuesday and he wants 15 dollars whole bonita now. Thats getting crazy and atlantic bait and tackle has 5 dollar bonita carcases.
