I am down in Florida for the winter, my Range is around Clearwater up to Pine Island. I really have no experience with shark fishing in the gulf. Im used to dropping bait off behind the breakers or past the first few sandbars on the Outer Banks. Ive only been on one beach briefly (pine island) and it appeared to be very shallow for a ways out.
Anyways, few questions.
Any good locations in the Clearwater up to Pine Island area?
What about bait deployment? How far out do I need to drop the bait? Can I cast and have much luck?
