unknow shark need help identifying

i caught this little guy in 800 - 900 feet of water, in south florida. and clue

After digging around for awhile and comparing you picture to others I would say it is a Spiny Dogfish Shark.
I'm going by what i can see, what appears to be a spine on the dorsal fin, the spiracle right behind the eye and general shape.

I would agree that it is most likely a spiny dogfish or a dogfish of some sort

Great info everyone in further research from your leads i believe that is a smooth skin dogfish. never though of dogfish when thinking of fishing in south florida. but i guess the saying where are the shark, answer, in the water is true.
