Anyone ever fish this pass? Not sure the name of it but it is in the Bradenton/Anna Maria Island/ Longboat Key area. I think I have seen pics of it before on this site (and some very nice fish too 
) I will be down in the area in July and thought I'd try and fish it, if it is any good. If anyone has any experience or tips for that area I'd be much obliged.

Big mackeral and bluefish there, plenty of ladyfish at night, the sandbars run in their occasionally and some bulls. The current there is insane and it's really deep, good luck fishing bottom.
Just an average fisherman.
The current is brutal and there is some boat traffic to watch out for. Had 480 cut straight through there on a spanish mackeral head. Only fished it a few times

Only up to the sign, then it says no fishing. We fish just past it late at night and make sure we clean up and dont cause trouble. The guard usually doesnt bother us and even came out once to ask if we were catching anything.
