Pretty new too shark fishing, looking to toss out a line before dusk in the gulf. Not sure what I should be using as far as bait. Lady fish are pretty easy to catch out on the beach and so are some bigger whitening. If I cut those into big chunks would those work out well or should I try for more like a smaller creavelle and use that.

Ladyfish is a great bait for sharks. jacks are good too basically a good shark bait is anything really oily like jacks,bonito,ladyfish,stingray,mackerel, etc.
Will you be casting or yaking baits out?
