We were on a mission to catch the King Kong stingray that hangs around in one of our fishing spots. This stingray swallows entire fish carcasses, sucks the meat off them and then spits them out. I estimate the weight of the monster stingray at over 200lbs. It's the largest southern stingray that I have ever seen caught. Both stingrays were released.
