Hey guys I was wondering how you all freeze your shark bait to keep it in the best freshest condition I know that wen I put it in a cooler after I catch it I shouldent leave it in the ice water but is there anything spiecial to do or do I just throw them in the freezer ? and also how long should I keep frozen bait until it's no good?

WOW...tough one to answer.
Some people prepare special brines, some vacuum seal the bait, some leave it on the side of the house for 2 day then throw it in the freezer followed by another 2 days on the side of the house thawing and then catch fish. They all work...I just don't know which one works best.

I've caught some nice sharks on Popsicle baits. Obviously fresh would be best but I just throw my bait in freezer until next time.

Last Sandbar I caught was on a big frozen blue fish....was still a little frozen as I floated it out and everything...I think It just depends on their mood lol.

Yeah plus I used to just put them in freshwater to thaw them and I guess that's bad and removes oils n blood and so does putting them in the ice water wen you freeze them I guess cause it's made with clorinated water
