Since bait has been on and off for me, I was thinking of building myself a bait pen to store my bait. I had two concerns though: What fish can be stored in the pen? (As in will different fish like mullet and jacks be able to live in it) How long can they be stored in there for based on past experiences?
I've never built a bait pen but i did manage to keep rays alive for a couple days with a huge marine cooler and a bunch of aerators. Are you thinking of making one in the water or just like a tank?
I always wanted to do something like a bait house but I have no idea what to feed the fish to keep them alive.

You might be able to talk to a tackle shop that keeps live mullet and pinfish to see what they put in the tanks. A guy like Fishin Frank would probably be able to help you out. And theres always google lol
