Just wondering if anyone has used this species of ray and had any results? Typically found on the Atlantic coast but also they can go deep into freshwater systems such as Lake George, St. John's river, and Salt Springs... I have been gigging in the springs and lake and encountered quite a few and have thought of using them for bait but I don't want to put it out if no one has EVER had any luck..

I have had luck with them there the only rays I ever use mostly beacause they are the most readily available to me I catch them in the manatee river on the gulf coast I'm pretty sure there just like small southerns

I put one out the other night & got squadouche. Put on a lady fish head , 5 minutes later.... Fish on!!
