Not much info, but still an awesome catch.
I have heard rumor you can pay a (specific) captain to chum them up and hook one. He won't move the boat or help at all, then when you get the shark to color you cut it off. Still sounds pretty awesome.
And in recent GW news, a paper was published saying their is an estimated 340-3,000 individual GWs off the coast of California.
