Can't remember if I posted this or not. A year ago and a bit, we caught a 13'11" Sawfish. I thought I would add her to this thread. She was nasty and came out swinging. Catch of a lifetime. Caught on a 12/0 with a piece of s mackerel = Big Calos Pass

Sweet catch! I don't think anybody makes a long enough hook remover for that fish, though.
Huge sawfish.Gave it a sticky.

Good point! 
That did pose a problem, you could get your arm cut off. We used a beach towel and wrapped it around the saw. It had lost some of it's fight at that point. I used the bolt cutters and cut the wire leader at the hook from the side. They have small mouths and are right underneath like a ray.
