Hi everyone-new to site and been shark fishing for 25 years. My name is dave murray and I live in tampa,I,m 53 years old-married and have 2_kids in college.I used to belong to the tampa bay shark club back in the 80s.I see by your site there are a couple of guys from my area-good to see shark fishing is still going strong around here also.I don,t shark fish as much as I used to-like you younger guys can-used to pull that shark fish all night and get up for work on 4hrs sleep years ago too. Used to fish mostly from boats years ago but now fish from the beach most of the time now-fish with a 12/0-9/0-6/0 and run my lines out with a yak.Still get my shark fishing fix once a year by taking a vacation down in sanibel and fishing for sharks each night. Did ok this year(just last week june 13th-18th)landed 3-nice lemons around 7ft and lost and cut off by twice that amount,but still a great time as always......I will try and post pics later.Never have caught any big sharks-lost some big ones back in the 80s fishing from the boat after afew hrs fighting them. Got afew tigers around 4-7ft,4-6ft bulls,6-8ft lemons and a couple nice bts over 100lbs...and only 1-t head about 6ft.
