The Attraction of LBSF -Fishermen's Letter to SFSC by JamesK
Hi William Fundora!
Thanks for letting me join your site. I mainly fish around Tampa area and here is a link to my fisherman status: http://skywaypiers.proboards.com/thread ... caught-end
I was born and raised in a rural county in central Florida (South of Orlando but inland from Tampa/St. Pete) and I have fell in love with shark fishing especially with likeminded guys who can hang out, sit around the fire eating campfire food such as chicken with corn, potatoes, and carrots or maybe beer bratwursts with garlic peppers and onions:

Shark fishing is a great way enjoy nature, enjoy the stars, enjoy the peaceful night's rustling wind or maybe bring a toddler and spend all night making a great big sandcastle!
Don't get me wrong -- nothing beats the heart-thumping, stomach twisting surge of unexpected adrenaline when in the middle of roasting marshmellows when your 10/0 clicker goes off on your 15 pound amberjack! The wave of excitement and roller-coaster of emotions last for many years after a fishing trip is over -- and that's the reason we shark fisherman care about our sport.
Getting the chance to do battle with a 500 pound bull shark or 800 pound hammer is like going back in time with King Arthur and middle ages as you draw your sword to do battle with a dragon. The ferocious power and daring greatness of a giant monster shark brings a human as close as ever to engaging in battle with a deep sea monster.
Every time I hook up with a powerful, beastly shark I feel swept away like I'm living inside the pages of a great tall tale like Moby Dick, every minute of battle makes you feel more alive than you've ever felt. It's definitely a surreal experience and sharks have earned my admiration, my fear, and my respect.
The photos and videos of great shark fishing videos on this site (along with the stories of Rene De Dios) provide a tremendous amount of content which anyone with a passing interest in shark fishing will no doubt become captivated if they spend a few hours on this great site.
Thanks for having me and I look forward to sharing my upcoming stories, pictures, and videos!
Tight lines,
James K
