a few sharks me and my dad caught on channel 5.and a nice jack my buddy bobby caught off danie peir. this bridge is one of my best stops for real big cudes .
we caught so many there i will not go any where else to find them. i have caught every thing from small kings to gaint hammerhead my dad fought for 3 1/2 hours on the gulf side. this monster when it came up went in one tube and hung out the other side we think it was all of 10+ feet but thats a geuss from the top of a bridge never gaffed it or tail roped it. was out there this past month and had a good 2 days 1st night we hooked about 4 blacktip all under 5 ft and then around 4 am all hell broke lose and my brothers 4/0 wide spooled with 50 went crazy he fought another small blacktip all the way up got it between the poles when something else want it for dinner it inhaled the whole thing to its tail then thats when it got crazy this fish almost spooled the 4/0 this went on for 40 min till the line went limp reeled it up to a 2 foot wide tail left. when i find the photos i will post the. 
if any one want king fish scraps for bait hit me up on sunday nights and will let you know if my buddy went out or not he goes out like every sunday.
Welcome aboard and thanks for sharing with us.Sounds like king Kong has been swimming around the channel 5 bridge.Last year someone else on this site got smoked while bringing in a blacktip at the same place.How's Dania pier been on shark fishing?There usually real strict on anyone trying for sharks.

no more shark fishing from dania peir the new owner or what ever you want to call him put some crappy rule on that peir nothing over 4/0 and 3 rod limit so it isnt even worth going unless the blues or macks are around
