new to forum lifelong multi species fisherman
greetings all my name is Mark i live in Maryland now, used to live in florida . love to fish the beach for what ever is running at the time and for that matter even when nothing is running as it is the way i take the stress out of my life the wind the ocean a fish is just icing on the cake . i fish freshwater most of the time except when on outer banks or fla vacation. i am an avid carp angler and fish competitively ( and socially) for them. was captain of the 2005 world champion Team USA in the world championships held on the st lawrence river in upstate ny. reason i am here is that i am headed to FLA in february (hutchinson island) (Stuart) and want to do some shark fishing from the beach.
I have had a few on in the past but have never been able to land them so i am looking for advice i have lots of questions but ill post them in the appropriate section thanks for having this resource available.
Mark
Hey Mark welcome aboard and thanks for joining us.Since you're coming to Florida soon give us a precise date and maybe we can make it a point to meet you on the beach for some shark fishing.February 6th-13th we have the Blacktip Challenge Shark Tornament taking place from Ft lauderdale to Vero beach so maybe it's something you might be interested in.For more info on the tourney check out the thread set up just for people who want to participate.Hope to hear from you.Thanks.
