well, Im Nick. Found the site while searchin on google for some tips, gotta say from what Ive seen I love it. Few months ago I hooked about a 6 foot blacktip on accident while fishing for Reds, and I was Hooked! Its deff. a new hobby of mine, cant wait to get out there and keep learning more. So far I've been spooled once, lol...and had a few spinner sharks break me off while jumping around, but I'll be hittin them again with better tackle and a new rod and reel this time. But anyways, Glad to be apart of the site, plan on doing the Shark Club Membership this next year. Anyone else here from Jacksonville or close?
Welcome bud!!Hope we can help you in your shark fishing endeavors.Great to have you here with us .Check out "allaroundfishing" he's in Georgia and very active shark fisherman.If i were you i would type an introduction letter stating you're looking to meet local shark fisherman and then pm all the members in this site.E Polk is the top dog in the Panhandle area shoot him a pm .I know there are others that are members on this site from that area but not too active .Although most are west of you in the panhandle area hopefully you can hook up with some of them and fish for Makos which gets hot soon from November thru February.
