New member from West Florida!

Hey everyone,

My name's John, i'm 17, and I currently live in Sarasota. I have been fishing my whole life, however, I've only been shark fishing for about a year now. My biggest shark I've landed so far is a 7'2" bull (which isn't that big I know), but i'm most certainly proud of it to say the least. I typically catch sandbars, tips, smaller bulls, and the occ. different species. I've already been spooled a couple times which i'm sure were bigger fish. My setups are a senator 9/0, 50w international, and a formula 15ld. Nothing big yet, but I only deploy baits 150 yards at the very most (I fish deep areas). I want to add a 80w or 14/0 or 16/0 to my list, because tarpon run up the coast soon and you know what are right behind them I am determined to catch a shark over 10' this year, and I will NOT give up. I will post reports of what I catch on the forum for all to see; as I do fish frequently! Tight lines everyone!
