Hey everyone Adrian here from Miami, FL. I been sharkin for a while mainly from piers and recently started fishing the beaches and deploying my baits with kayak. I haven't landed a monster yet although working on it lol. The several times that my reel screamed and on some occasions lines popped, and others I brought them in led me to shark fishing. Theres nothing better than going up against pure strength and force. Ive caught the standard nurse about 4-5ft and also 5 ft bull. not much else besides that.
Also as a result of the sport, I have maintained my reels and now I service reels. From upgrades to standard maintenance. For those here who love the big senators, there are upgrades to allow 14/0's and 16/0's to produce close to 100lbs of drag. everything led from one thing to another. I briefly looked over the forums here and truly appreciate the history that this forum provides on shark fishing. It is entertaining and fun to read whats provided on here.
