You guys are lucky have deep pier fishing roots but you don't know the half of it .Palm beach fishing ,pier fishing, and shark fishing go together and go back a long time.It would take me many pages of posting old pics to insert just a fraction of that history.Here's a tidbit ,,,,the old Lake Worth pier ,the lake worth pier big game fishing club and Herb Goodman the shark fishing legend is on the top row fourth from right corner wearing his traditional old school fishing cap.Land based fishermen were respected more during that era and less stringent fishing and community laws in place. Thanks to the Lake Worth Sharkers for helping make the 2011 BIG HAMMER CHALLENGE THE BEST EVER.Thanks to all the participants who fished so hard to make such great catches .The behavior of the sportsman that competed in the tourney was exemplary and will set the tone for future BHC competitions.We hope to see you all at the Awards Party next Sunday May 22 ,2011 at John U Lloyd state park starting at 12 noon .Thank you all once again.

Will, like all of us.....we are dedicated to this sport and my great grandfather was A hard core sharker.Not only lake worth but wherever sharks ran,if you could post more old school pics of lake worth pier cause my great grandfather 'Clarence William Broge wuz in that picture you posted...'2nd row,right end with a fishermans cap!!!
