Hi my name is Diana and I currently live in Abilene, Texas. My dad and I got into land based shark fishing a couple of years ago and after my first trip I was defiantly hooked!!! Now I devote as much of myself and my time as I possibly can to the sport of catching sharks. The nearest beach for me is 7 ½ hrs away and the nearest Florida beach is 14 ½ hrs., but during the months of Feb.-Nov., I am on a beach at LEAST once a month with my dad and/or boyfriend Troy. Sometimes we will fish in Texas, but most of our trips have taken place throughout different locations along the Florida panhandle. The biggest shark I have caught was a 9 ft 4 in. Lemon, last summer. My goal for this year is to catch a 10ft plus, hopefully during the BHC!!!!!

Welcome Diana.I've seen your progress over the last couple of years and i'm impressed with your catches and dedication to the sport. You look like you've been doing real well with your shark fishing and steadily getting better.Lots of folks wish they had the quality and quantity of big sharks you've already caught .One other shark fisherwoman you remind me of is Mellissa Showman who caught a 13 foot Tiger in the 2008 Shorebound shark tourney.I would not be suprised if you catch a 11 or 12 foot tiger this year,,,,it could happen and maybe it happens during the Big Hammer Challenge.
