New from Central FLorida
Well, just recently got into this sport by accident. Tried surf fishing the mullet run this September, and the guy next to me caught 2 sharks while I was catching bluefish. Needless to say, his trip looked way more exciting than mine. So I came back the next day and caught a 54" Lemon for my first shark. I normally fish Playalinda beach, and usually have at least 1 hookup every single time I am out. However, I loose way more than I land, so looking to get some good tips here. Here are a couple of pics of my first few.Great site!

Nice to meet you (insert name here) ![]()
It is always a pleasure to see new people to sport! If you are looking for tips im sure you will find them here, there are many many knowledgeable fishermen on the site that i am sure would be more then welcome to help you out. A good idea would be to brows the forum and look on various threads to see how the sport differs from Reels, lines, hook sizes, baits and locations.
Wish you tight lines and many hook ups!
