New but not new.

Hello fellow club members. I am a newish member to the South Florida Shark Club. Fifteen years of age. A die hard fisherman. I caught my first fish at the age of two and my first shark at eight. I have wanted to be a marine biologist since I caught my first fish and havnt changed my mind since. I play the trumpet and love to kayak. I have been over five miles offshore in a one man kayak chasing a school of cobia. I hadnt realized how far out I was until I looked back and I couldnt see land except the light house and cell tower when I was on top of the swells. Ron Geraci is the one to thank for me joining the shark club. I came down from Gloucester , Va to get out of the up and down weather. 20 degrees one day and 70 the next. I was tired of it. So I bought a plane ticket flying into Orlando - Sanford. I went and visited with my Grandmother and went to her sisters house in Port St Lucie. One of their friends, Ron, wanted to take me shark fishing. Being that I had wanted to go we met up and went to the jetty at Sebastian bay. While we waited he mentioned Will and the SFSC. No fish landed, but we got two strong hits that snapped through the leader like it was a hot knife going through butter. Ron wasnt available again for two days. But on that Wensday we went back to the jetty and attempted at a shark. Ron had made a call and Will decided to meet up with us a the jetty. After he got there nothing had bitten except Bonnet heads. So we packed up and headed to Palm beach to fish the pump house. Will put up the rest of the report under Sebastian and Palm Beach first day of snook season. After then I have been on the website every day four to five times a day. I am officially hooked thanks to Ron and Will.
