My name is James Staggs, born to a navy family was around the ocean for most of my childhood, my most enjoyable times I remember were spent on SPI in the late 60's shark fishing best a 10 yo kid could, then dad retired and I was whisked away to wv where I would spend the next 37 years without seeing salt water again, till 2008 when I took the family to NC on vacation, returned in 2009 and managed to catch a small spinner and it all came flooding back, I'm gearing up now to resume shark fishing and hope to make the BHC in 2013, thanks for having me.

Welcome to the site! I had a similar experience when I was 5 in Massachusetts. Fishing Boston harbor and having a ton of little sharks circling the boat. Caught a few of them and was one of the best memories of my life! Hope you get to catch many more on your next trip
