Moved to Florida few months ago. Originally from California. Was out fishing day in and day out off piers and marinas and shores catching various fish for fun. I only ever caught little 2'+ shark until one day at marina ran into a guy talking about how he shark fishes. I joined up with him and we went out and caught 4'-5'ers. Now I need some serious tackle. All I'm using is a PENN 4/0 Defiance conventional and PENN Fierce 8000 spinner.
Looking to buy an OkumaSolterra50Wii or PennInternationalVSW. I'm sure I could go with another reel of good value, but the Senators just look clunky and cheap to me so avoiding them(No insult to those that use em-they're durable). I want to feel like I'm pulling out a Makaira when I go out.
