been lurking for ages! finally made an account

Hey guys! my name is Jake Meiners and i have been lurking here for atleast 3 years. I am 14 and I live in savannah GA. with a bit of luck, i got into the sport. origionally, i just cuaght small sharks out of a boat and dreamed of catching a monster off the beach. i never pulled the trigger on some gear becuase it would burn up all my money. now i can start fishing for sharks off the beach becuase my uncle, who took a trip to florida, found the tip of a rod sticking out of the sand. he dug it up and boom, up came a penn 30tw. he lives in indiana so on the way back, he stopped by our house and gave it to me. It was locked up and coated in white corrosian. me and my dad pulled it apart and it was absolutely PACKED with sand and i mean PACKED. it is amazing how we got it working like new! Penn is sooo well made! now i can get into the sport and hopefully grow in knoledge and equipment.
