"SHARK HOOKERS" HAS ARRIVED!
How's it going everyone? My name is Josh and I'm the captain of "Shark Hookers" based out of Fort Myers, FL. This is our third year shark fishing and although we've had a slow start this season (4 times out, 1 goliath grouper - 0 sharks) we're still looking forward to a very successful year. Last year was a blast. The pride of our season was a large sandbar shark, 8'3 lemon shark, and a monster 8'4 bull shark. Obviously we had numerous smaller sharks, but the ones below were our favorites. We're very willing to give out any tips/advice we've found helpful along the way, as well as eager to pick up any good pointers from all of you. This seems like a very solid site and I look forward to sharing stories with everyone as the season progresses. We roll with a Penn Senator 12/0 (80 lbs dacron braid), Penn Senator 9/0 (80 lbs braid), and Capt Choice 6/0 (80 lbs braid). The 9/0 is my favorite, by far and away. Anyways, like I said, I'm looking forward to participating on the site and seeing how everyone does this year!
