Since I started fishing for sharks (five years ago) I have used single strand wire. Last year I started to use 400lb aircraft cable for sharks because it was a lot harder for them to get through it. But I'm not sure if I get as many hook ups as I did with the single strand. I am hoping to get a big bull or hammer and don't know what kind of leader material to use, aircraft cable (49 strand) or single strand.
What do you guys prefer?
