Hey guys getting my rigs all set up I am trying to figure out what crimps to use and where to get them. I would like to get the crimps and thimbles from the same place. Im using 500lb MOno what size crimps do I need and should I get oval or double barrel, copper or aluminum any help would be great.
Also I can not find a fair priced set of crimps either. I only do this once a year not looking to spend 100 dollars on a set of crimps Ill never use.

Standard hand crimpers should be able to handle that size, but anything bigger and you need a deluxe crimper or a swager from home depot. They run about 25-30 for the smaller hand crimper.
