I'm dumb help me
Hey guys, I'm Kyle and I'm a beginner at shark fishing, I'm in Sarasota, Fl. Last Friday I went shark fishing at Turtle beach and hooked up three lines and kayaked the bait out. Two lines had frozen stingray and one had a frozen Bonita head. I had the pretty far out but not too far and let them soak for hours with no bites. Most of this was outgoing tide. I'm curious as to what I could do to improve t chances of bites besides using live bait which I will try when I can. I'm not targeting any specific shark. Let me know if you need more information. Thanks guys!
I think you have the right idea putting out a variety of baits. Shark can be picky eaters and you want to offer them what they're hungry for. But fresh vs. frozen makes a difference. If you're good with a cast net, definitely try some fresh mullet. If the shark doesn't hit it, another species like bluefish, sheepshead, ladyfish will take it and those are all good baits. Good luck!
