Welcome aboard. Wherebouts you located? I buy my hooks at a buddies shop or Fishermans Ideal Supply Warehouse (F.I.S.H) in Seminole. I use VMC welded eye 2X strong Tuna/Marlin 12/0 and 14/0's depending on bait size. I just got some line from http://bullbuster.net/fishingline/ Those guys are great! Excellent quality line, Excellent prices, I got my line quickly etc. I dont think they have 130lb, just 125lb-200lb.

Sorry bro my account got screwed up. So I made a new one. I am actually situated In Maryland. Ive heard of vmc bet never used them. From what you said they seem like everything I could want from a big shark hook. What about the price. Speaking of the line. I actually am now planning on filling it with 1200 yards of 200 lbs braid and then topping it off with 200lbs mono. I actually have heard of bull buster and so far haven't heard anything bad. How much would 500 yards of 200lbs cost. Also what online brands sell the vmc's

you cant gro wrong with vmc hooks. tackledirect.com sells them. thats the only place i really buy tackle from. bull buster line is great. i have it most of my reels. 970 yards of 200lb bull buster will run you 75.00 + shipping. but if you become a member of the club i believe he offers a discount of like 25% or some thing like that.

so for 30 a year you get a membership here, witch includes your membership package that consists of a t-shirt, bumper sticker, news letter, i believe you get entered into the triple crown also, and i think a % of your membership dues go to the shorebound anglers alliance. witch was started by will and a guy from texas (sorry i do not know his name) and they are trying to keep our fishing rights in place as law makers and city officials that try to pass laws that say no shark fishing here or no fishing there. it is really worth the 30 dollars a year to help protect the rights for you, me, every one that fishes from shore along with our kids and our kids kids.

ok we can get back on topic now.
