At 8 ft 6 its more then likely a Harrington.My Harringtons are all 8 ft 6.

Well, besides length if it is a Harrington, does the wall thickness look good? it was definitely sanded down alot. My other harringtons look the same as far as the ridges and inside of the blank but the only harringtons I know of that come as 8'6" are 540's and 550's, and I think 555's did too. The only problem I'm having is the fact that the blank is too big for a 540, too small of a 555, and the butt width is too big for a 550. I could be wrong though.

The Harrington blanks butt diameter on a 555 is 1.00 inches. The 540 and the 550 butt diameter is .875 inches. Total length should be 8' 6 in.
