From the fishing pier? Or rowing from shore? My bro hits the northside frequently and does quite well. He misses everything and cant seem to bury a hook for nothing but gets quite a few runs. 
I havent been to the southside in a while. I usually pitch and/or row the beach but lately rough seas (for my canoe) have been keeping me grounded. 
I fish off the pier in the shallows right after the toll both maybe 400 ft away from it. semper fi buddy
I think Im gonna try to row the beach tnight (depending on wind) if I dont maybe Ill swing by the southside. If you see a teal green jeep cherokee 4x4 with a set of blacktip jaws in the grille thats us.
