Anyone have any experience with this lil cutie? Buddy of mine found one his dad used years ago on an old penn rod. He wants to beef it up with alan tanis carbon washers, sleeve and power handle. Alans demo 2/0 put out 15 lbs drag after mods. What does it make stock? Scotts shows it should hold 275 yds of 30 mono. We gonna try to stuff close to 500 of 40 braid. No topshot. Sounding good so far? I know its a far cry from dragging in a big fish but he wants to see if he can land something around 5-6'. Sound possible?
