my buddy got a boca 40 from some one he fishes with and lets just say its seen better days he sold it to me for a good price and i want to give it to my girl for Christmas so i wanted to paint it pink or some thing. does any one know how to paint a reel?
Have it powder coated, alot more durable, and its inexpensive too.
some parts are plastic tho. i was thinking about airbrushing it a little. i found a bad ass video online i want to try on a few things and see if i can do it right. do you think air brushing with alot of clear will hold up
i just spooled it with line and it spools on the bottom of the spool any idea on why it does that and how to fix it?
enough clear should keep it from corroding, not sure how tough it will be as far as scratch resitant. Worth a shot tho, I would imagine good enough coat on it will help. Let me know how your airbrushing works out.
